College News
Barton鈥檚 offices will be closed March 20 and 21 for spring break. The college鈥檚 regular class schedule and business hours will resume Monday, March 24.
The ISB电子 Library will team up with the English department and Barton鈥檚 literary annual 鈥淧rairie Ink鈥 staff to host a writing workshop from 6-7:30 p.m. March. 27 in the in the Barton Library in the Cavanaugh Room.
ISB电子 will host a screening of the documentary 鈥淪torm of Passion鈥 March 22 at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium; a live panel discussion will follow the event featuring members of the Storm of Passion volunteer storm-chasing team.
The 15th Annual ISB电子 Foundation Sporting Clay Shoot is set for April 27 at Camp Aldrich, offering participants a day of friendly competition while raising funds for a great cause.
ISB电子 will host student recitals at 4:30 p.m. April 2, 16, and 30 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel in the Fine Arts Building. The recitals are free and open to the public.
The Barton Music Department will present a choral concert alongside the Central Kansas Community Choir, and the Hutchinson Community College Choir for two performances of Gabriel Faure鈥檚 鈥淩equiem Mass,鈥 at 7:30 p.m. April 4 in the Fine Arts Auditorium on the Barton Campus and again on April 6 at 2 p.m. at St. Teresa鈥檚 Catholic Church in Hutchinson.
