The Liberal Studies curriculum is designed to prepare students to transfer to a four-year institution.听 A student can earn an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science.听 A student pursuing an Associate of Arts degree has more emphasis in humanities, fine/performing arts, and the social sciences.听 A student pursuing an Associate of Science degree has more emphasis in mathematics, natural/life sciences, and physical sciences.

In addition to general education courses in American History, we offer a variety of electives including Western Civilizations, Kansas History and Military histories. Electives must meet the requirements of your transferring institution. Students should coordinate with their advisor for transfer requirements.
